Root for Hemp just turned one, and we are still swooning over what a year it has been! 🎉 Over 700 products have found their way into homes this year, and our roots are spreading far and wide. Beyond products sold, we’ve loved showing up in our communities, sharing hemp knowledge nuggets in conversation, and seeing curiosity bloom. It is clear to us that there is so much interest in being a part of hemp’s success, and the enthusiasm for our products we've received in these communities only adds fuel to our fire. 🔥
Here are some community highlights from our first year of growth:
🌿Celebrated a warm homecoming at the 10th anniversary of Women Grow in Washington, D.C.—our table was buzzing with energy, curious conversations, hugs from old friends and connecting with plenty of new buds too (including many of you who joined our newsletter there!).
🏔️ Launched our first in-person shopping experience this Summer in the picturesque mountain town of Leadville, Colorado—find us at the Main Street staple, Gigi’s General Store.
🌾 Popped up at five GoFarm markets, meeting local plant lovers as they picked up their weekly farm shares from 50+ small growers. We welcomed 75 new newsletter signups and sent 75 hemp seed packets out into the world—we can’t wait to see hemp sprouting around Lakewood, Golden, and Arvada next Spring!
🎙️ Branched into podcasting with our first-ever ad on Find the Helpers Pod, hosted and produced by friends of the brand, our buds Brad Bogus and Vince Chandler. Together, we are spreading the good word about hemp (and the resistance) one earbud at a time.
