Weaving Vibes

The first weave of Weaving Vibes was woven four decades ago, beginning as a dream of the founder’s late grandfather. Having pioneered the power loom woven cotton and all its blends in India, Weaving Vibes has breathed textiles since the nineteen fifties and seen all the innovations in textile manufacturing in India and across the world. In the current global climate, they aim to create a line of natural, plant-based, eco-friendly, sustainable and biodegradable fabrics and weaves that are stronger and last longer. This great fabric wouldn’t be possible without the team behind it. Using state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques and offering multiple quality check points throughout the process, this team of expert fabricators ensures that all parameters are checked, monitored and supervised to produce the best quality fabric.

Greenfield Paper

Since 1992, Green Field Paper Company has crafted their specialty fine quality paper using non-wood fibers and sustainable alternative materials. Their goal is to create products that communicate an original sense of style while operating with eco-friendly manufacturing processes for compostable products. Green Field Paper Company has also made a commitment to offset 100% of their company-wide electricity use by purchasing wind energy credits for their electrical usage in San Diego, California.

East Parlor

With a passion for weaving and using all natural fibers, East Parlor is committed to slow made, simple designs, made from sustainable fabrics. Based in Omaha, Nebraska, owner and weaver, Sarah Parys not only enjoys the process but loves to see the beautiful results. Each product is sustainable and eco-friendly, durable and absorbent, hypoallergenic and anti-microbial.

Toker Poker

Born out of necessity for the community of cannabis tokers, Toker Poker created the perfect lifestyle accessory. Owners Matt and Leslie realized that resin coated lighters and the endless search for paperclips could no longer be the norm. The first Toker Pokers were Macgyvered out of hot glue, bobby pins, and acrylic paint, and Matt and Leslie soon realized the convenience they had created. This Colorado-based small business recently expanded their collection with hemp plastic and added a bottle opener to the design, making the ultimate multi tool even more useful and sustainable too!

Last Prisoner Project

The Last Prisoner Project (LPP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to cannabis-related criminal justice reform. As the United States moves away from the criminalization of cannabis, giving rise to a major new industry, there remains the fundamental injustice inflicted upon those who have suffered under America’s unjust policy of cannabis prohibition. Through intervention, advocacy and awareness campaigns, the Last Prisoner Project works to redress the past and continuing harms of these inhumane and ineffective laws and policies.

Root for Hemp is a proud member of Last Prisoner Project’s “Partners for Freedom” program. When you shop from our Merch on a Mission collection, $1 of every item sold is donated directly to Last Prisoner Project.
