Meet the Maker

Kristen Williams

Kristen Williams is the talented graphic designer behind the Root for Hemp brand. Working closely with our Founder, Kristen has been the creative force that channels Lauren’s visions into reality. She designed the Root for Hemp logo, all of our stickers, ashtrays, tins, greeting cards, sketchbooks and journals, pencils, as well as our iconic “Vote Like Your Leaf Depends On It” graphic used on everythings from buttons to hats. Kristen is passionate about helping entrepreneurs bring to life their visions for making the world a better place. Her favorite projects are those that help change the stigma surrounding cannabis through education. She has worked as a graphic designer in the cannabis space since 2013 and has done work for over 40 cannabis companies across the country and has been a part of seven different startups. She founded her own company, Hempsley, in 2017.
