Jill Smith is a Seamstress, Maker & Owner of RJS Designs in Leadville, Colorado. Jill sews Root for Hemp exclusives, including napkins, bandanas, scrunchies, and more. As a zero-waste sewer, Jill takes great care to minimize waste at every step and always has clever ideas for ways to use scraps. Jill also makes upcycled clothing and other projects using found materials.

The first weave of Weaving Vibes was woven four decades ago, beginning as a dream of the founder’s late grandfather. Having pioneered the power loom woven cotton and all its blends in India, Weaving Vibes has breathed textiles since the nineteen fifties and seen all the innovations in textile manufacturing in India and across the world. In the current global climate, they aim to create a line of natural, plant-based, eco-friendly, sustainable and biodegradable fabrics and weaves that are stronger and last longer. This great fabric wouldn’t be possible without the team behind it. Using state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques and offering multiple quality check points throughout the process, this team of expert fabricators ensures that all parameters are checked, monitored and supervised to produce the best quality fabric.
